DAZN has obtained a sub-licensing deal from German broadcaster Sky to stream select UEFA Champions League matches to its subscribers in Germany and Austria. The OTT service provider will stream the matches live online on its website, as well as on its official apps for Android, iOS, smart TVs and games consoles.
DAZN has retained the French Ligue 1 broadcast rights in Germany and Austria. The OTT service will continue to stream Ligue 1 matches live and on demand with HD quality, until the end of the 2023/24 season. All Ligue 1 streams on DAZN will be available to watch on smart TVs, mobile phones, tablets, PCs and games consoles.
OTT broadcaster DAZN has struck a sublicensing deal with Eurosport to stream the Bundesliga live in Germany and Austria. The two-year deal will give DAZN the rights to over 40 exclusive Bundesliga games on Fridays at 20:30 CET, Sundays at 13:30 CET and Mondays at 20:30 CET. This is in addition to the relegation matches and the annual DFL Supercup. Bundesliga matches produced by DAZN will be distributed on German high-definition satellite TV platform, HD+.
DAZN has acquired the broadcast streaming rights in Germany and Austria for the Italian Serie A. The rights package runs for three seasons starting with the 2018-19 season and running until the 2020-21 season. DAZN will stream all 380 matches per season live and on-demand
DAZN DACH (Europe) has acquired the broadcasting rights for Portugal's Primeira Liga - Liga Nos in Germany. The rights cover internet and mobile streaming. DAZN will air up to three live matches per match-week as well as a League highlights program.
Premium OTT service DAZN has extended its exclusive broadcast rights to the Spanish La Liga in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. The service will stream all matches live to subscribers on computers, mobile devices, smart TVs and games consoles, until the end of the 2020/21 season.
