BeIN Sports has secured multi-platform French Ligue 1 rights in Australia until 2024. The network will cover multiple matches live in HD every week on its television channels, as well as on its over-the-top (OTT) service beIN Sports Connect.
beIN Sports has retained exclusive multi-platform broadcast rights of the Spanish La Liga in Australia. Live matches will be telecast on TV with English commentary for every round in HD, whereas high-quality streams will be available to subscribers on PC and Mac, as well as Android and iOS mobile devices.
BeIN Sports has secured multi-platform Italian Serie A rights in Australia, through to 2021. The pay-TV broadcaster, which is part of a global network of premium sports broadcasters operated by beIN Media Group, will provide full coverage of Italy’s top division on television and on its video streaming service. While beIN Sports 1, beIN Sports 2 and beIN Sports 3 are expected to combine to telecast multiple games from every round, beIN Sports Connect will stream all 380 matches live online and on its official app for Android and iOS.
BeIN Sports will supplement the action with extra programming, including shows like Serie A Full Impact and Inside Serie A. Mini matches will be provided as well, whereas edited highlights for every game will be made available on demand throughout the season. All matches covered on beIN Sports will remain available to subscribers in Australia as full replays on beIN Sports Connect for catch up, though only for a few days after their original airing.
