DAZN has secured Bundesliga rights from 2021/22 to 2024/25 for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The OTT broadcaster will exclusively stream 106 matches live from the Bundesliga on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons, on its web and mobile platforms. This marks a significant increase in the number of live and on-demand Bundesliga matches for DAZN in the DACH region, compared to the previous deal it had with Discovery for Germany’s top tier football league.
Over the top (OTT) provider DAZN Germany has maintained streaming rights for Women’s Soccer League (WSL) matches in Germany. As part of their arrangement, the provider will stream 44 fixtures, both live and on-demand throughout the season. This deal was facilitated by women’s football organization Atalanta Media.
DAZN has retained the French Ligue 1 broadcast rights in Germany and Austria. The OTT service will continue to stream Ligue 1 matches live and on demand with HD quality, until the end of the 2023/24 season. All Ligue 1 streams on DAZN will be available to watch on smart TVs, mobile phones, tablets, PCs and games consoles.
Global streaming service DAZN has secured a non-exclusive deal to stream Spain's Copa Del Rey in five territories, including Germany. As part of this arrangement, DAZN will cover several matches throughout the course of the tournament on its platform.

Global OTT sports streaming service DAZN will stream the FA WSL 2020-21 season live in Germany and Italy. DAZN is reported to have secured streaming rights to 44 FA WSL games, which subscribers will be able to watch live and on-demand on a wide variety of devices throughout the season.
Subscription streaming service provider DAZN has agreed a sub-licensing deal with Discovery for the German Bundesliga. DAZN will show 45 matches from Germany’s top-flight football league in total and will also stream the Bundesliga’s relegation playoffs. The Bundesliga on DAZN during the 2020-21 season will feature 30 matches on Fridays, and five games each Sundays and Mondays. This new deal came after Discovery’s failed attempt to terminate its Bundesliga contract with the DFL in the summer of 2020, after complications caused by the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
DAZN has acquired the rights to the UEFA Europa League in Germany and Austria. The OTT platform will stream all the matches live and on demand every season until 2021, while also providing extensive highlights. 190 out of the 205 Europa league games that will air on DAZN will be exclusive to subscribers on the OTT platform. Coverage of the other 15 matches will be shared with free-to-air partner RTL.
DAZN has obtained a sub-licensing deal from German broadcaster Sky to stream select UEFA Champions League matches to its subscribers in Germany and Austria. The OTT service provider will stream the matches live online on its website, as well as on its official apps for Android, iOS, smart TVs and games consoles.

The subscription-based video streaming service will show all 380 Serie A matches live and on demand every season until the end of the 2020/21 season. DAZN DACH (Europe) has acquired the broadcasting rights for Portugal's Primeira Liga - Liga Nos in Germany. The rights cover internet and mobile streaming. DAZN will air up to three live matches per match-week as well as a League highlights program.
DAZN has extended its broadcast deal with the German Football League (DFL) for the non-exclusive rights to the Bundesliga in the German and Swiss markets. The OTT streaming service had initially secured the rights to a single game on May 18, 2020, following a one-match deal, but decided to continue with the agreement for the remainder of the 2020/21 season. Until Matchday 34, DAZN will stream nine live Bundesliga matches, as well as four relegation games. These come in addition to the usual match highlights, which are provided for both the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga.
