FOX has acquired multi-platform rights to the Bundesliga in USA. The network earned the rights to the league following a massive 5-year global media rights deal it signed in 2015. FOX will telecast Bundesliga matches every week in both English and Spanish languages on its family of U.S. channels, including Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2 and Fox Soccer Plus. Comprehensive Bundesliga streaming will be available online and on a wide variety of devices via cross-platform service Fox Soccer Match Pass. Fox Sports’ website and official apps mirroring linear Fox Sports TV channels will make the games available to subscribers in USA as well.
FOX has secured multi-platform rights for the 2020 Major League Soccer season. The American broadcaster will air live matches on television both on its English- and Spanish-language national networks. Regional FOX Sports networks will also join in the local TV coverage of games for specific teams. MLS matches will additionally be streamed live on FOX Sports GO – the broadcaster’s official over-the-top (OTT) service, which serves as the home for regional sports content.
FOX Sports has secured English-language rights for the 2020 CONCACAF Champions League in USA, following a three-year deal with the region’s soccer governing body. Matches from the Scotiabank Champions League will air live on FS1, FS2 and Fox Soccer Plus on TV, whereas FOX Sports’ apps and web platform will provide high-quality live streams to subscribers.
FOX Sports has retained exclusive English-language rights for the CONCACAF Gold Cup in USA, for the 2021 and 2023 editions. The American broadcaster will cover the continental tournament live on television on its linear networks FS1 and FS2. Telecasts are expected to include full replays, match highlights and auxiliary programming. Live Gold Cup games on FOX Sports will be available to stream on official FOX Sports apps for Android and iOS, as well as on the network’s website (authentication required).
