Pay-TV broadcaster TSN has secured Canadian rights to the 2022 World Cup. The Bell Media-owned network has direct access to Canada’s group stage matches against Belgium, Croatia and Morocco. All of TSN’s 2022 World Cup matches are to be streamed live on its subscription OTT service online and the TSN App on mobile devices. TSN is expected to produce pre- and post-match shows, analysis, match highlights and more on its linear channels and digital platforms. World Cup terrestrial TV rights in Canada are owned by sister networks RDS and CTV.
Bell Media has exclusive broadcast rights for the 2021 Copa América competition in Canada, and coverage will be provided by TSN and RDS.
TSN will be providing English-language coverage of the 2021 Copa América tournament in Canada. Matches will be shown live and on-demand, along with exclusive supplementary features, including key highlights, pre and post-match analysis, and full coverage. Subscribers will be able to live-stream matches over the course of the tournament either via TSN’s website or the TSN App using a variety of devices, including smart TV, computer, mobile, or tablet.
French-language coverage of the 2021 Copa América competition will be provided by RDS, with matches also shown live and on-demand, while subscribers will also be able to live-stream games via RDS’s corresponding app.
