Sportdigital Fussball has secured a multi-year partnership deal with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to become the broadcaster of AFC competitions in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland from 2021 to 2024. Sportdigital will show live matches from the AFC U23 Asian Cup in 2022 and 2024 on various platforms, including its digital service. The deal’s package includes over 150 live AFC matches every season and features other AFC youth tournaments.
Sportdigital has acquired the TV and internet streaming rights for Portugal's Primeira Liga in Germany. The deal coverage includes up to three live matches per match-week as well as a weekly highlights program and video highlights. The three-year deal commences with the 2020-21 season and expires at the end of the 2022-23 season.
Paid TV and internet braodcaster Sportdigital Fussball has acquired non-exclusive broadcast rights to the AFCON tournament for viewers based in Germany, in addition to Austria and Switzerland. Sportdigital Fussball shares coverage with digital soccer platform OneFootball to cover all 52 matches, and Sportdigital Fussball broadcasts games on its family of paid-TV channels.
