Singaporean TV operator StarHub has signed a six-year deal with the English Premier League to show all 380 matches every season, from 2022/23 through 2028. StarHub won the EPL rights in Singapore from previous broadcaster Singtel. Under the new agreement, the Premier League has agreed to have its matches aired live on subscription IPTV service StarHub TV, as well as on the broadcaster’s digital platforms for computers and mobile devices.
StarHub will show the German Supercup live in Singapore, following a multi-year agreement with Bundesliga International. StarHub will make the German Supercup available on its various platforms, including mobile and digital services.
Telecoms operator StarHub has acquired multi-platform rights to the German Bundesliga in Singapore. StarHub will air all 306 Bundesliga games every season throughout the period of the deal, along with the relegation playoffs. Over 200 live Bundesliga matches will be telecast on pay television, and on StarHub’s over-the-top (OTT) streaming service for mobile devices. As the new home of the Bundesliga in Singapore, StarHub will additionally collaborate with Bundesliga International to promote the league via numerous marketing activities.
